Step one of the manufacturing process is raw material preparation. ONEREEL uses premium plastic compounds, typically polypropylene (PP) or acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), to ensure high mechanical strength and chemical resistance. These materials are dried in industrial dryers to eliminate any residual moisture that could interfere with the molding process.

The dried plastic is then fed into an injection molding machine, where it is heated until it melts. This molten plastic is injected under high pressure into precision-engineered molds. These molds are custom-designed for various sizes and specifications of winding reels, ensuring that each product meets exact standards for thickness, strength, and shape.

Once the plastic is injected into the mold, the cooling process begins. The cooling time is strictly regulated to prevent warping or dimensional inaccuracies. After sufficient cooling, the molds open, and the freshly formed reel is ejected.
Post-molding processing includes trimming and polishing. Excess plastic around the edges—known as flash—is carefully removed using automated trimming tools. Then, the reels undergo surface finishing to smooth out any imperfections. This ensures safe handling and prevents damage to any cable or wire that comes in contact with the reel.

At this stage, every reel is visually and mechanically inspected. ONEREEL uses laser-guided measuring systems and impact testing tools to evaluate the structural integrity and geometric accuracy of the product. Only reels that pass all inspections are sent to the packaging department.
Before shipping, reels may be custom-labeled or colored based on client requests. Whether it's for telecom cable, fiber optics, or electrical wire, ONEREEL ensures the reel’s features match the customer’s technical requirements.

This streamlined yet thorough manufacturing process allows ONEREEL to produce thousands of reels per month without compromising on quality. It is this dedication to excellence that makes ONEREEL a trusted name in the winding reel industry.
